Non-Motorized Trailway Master Plan Meeting

On November 27, 2012 at 5:30 p.m., members of the public are invited to attend the final public presentation of a Non-Motorized Trailway Master Plan for the Sturgis area. This presentation will be held at the Sturgis Township Hall located at 26015 US-12. There will be an opportunity for public feedback during this presentation. Following the presentation, the plan will be submitted to the participating municipalities for adoption.

The Non-Motorized Trailway Master Plan was developed in partnership between the Townships of Sturgis, Fawn River, Sherman, Burr Oak, City of Sturgis, Sturgis Hospital, and the Sturgis Area Community Foundation. The plan proposes bike lanes, paved shoulders, side paths, and off-road trailways throughout the surrounding Sturgis area promoting linkages between schools, businesses, services, parks, natural resources, and cultural and historic landmarks to each other as well as to adjacent communities.
