Generate Sturgis is a collaboration of various local government and business representatives working with state agencies to develop an entrepreneurial culture within the City of Sturgis and surrounding areas. For 2012, Generate Sturgis is kicking off two initiatives in order to achieve this goal, Coffee Chats and Business Idea Contests.

The Coffee Chats, starting in February, will provide an informal setting where creative minds can share ideas for new businesses, services or products. It's a chance to discuss ideas one-on-one with someone interested in helping people explore what other services and connections might be needed to advance their ideas. The 2012 Get Fit Challenge starts Saturday January 7th. Register at the Doyle Center anytime between 8:00 am - 2:00 pm. Cost is only $10 per person and includes a T-Shirt, one week Doyle Membership, one week Sturgis Journal Subscription and chances to win several cash prizes! Not a member? Not a problem!
