As of 6:00 am CL&P has the Town of Somers with a 2% outage (111 customers) without power. Stafford and Rosehaven Roads are open and the power appears to be on. Gulf, Beverly, and Jamestown remain closed.

CL&P indicates that currently, there are approximately 235 residents (5%) without power. Efforts are continuing to restore power to homes in Somers. The Public Works Dept reports that as of this morning the following roads are not completely passable: Gulf Road at house #180, Stafford Road at Mulberry Lane, Rosehaven at house #80, Beverly Drive at house #5, and Jamestown Road - one lane closed. Pioneer Heights leaving Somers is now clear.

As of 4:00 pm the end of Gulf Road into Stafford is open as well as Kibbe Grove Road.

Charging stations are available at the Somers Public Library on Vision Blvd.
