Introducing the Polk Aviation Alliance

Winter Haven is committed to the Polk Aviation Alliance in an effort to market aviation interests throughout Polk County. That cooperative effort includes the annual Sun 'n Fun, held in Lakeland each year. Throughout the 2012 event, nearby cities and airports, such as Winter Haven's Gilbert Field, are expected to experience an increase in visitors that come with additional air traffic in the area.
