The Cities of Winter Haven and Auburndale are excited to bring you Santa along with 50+ floats in the Havendale Christmas Parade! The Parade begins in front of Spring Haven on Havendale Blvd. and travels 3 miles east to end at Wells Fargo in Auburndale. Roads close at 6pm and the parade starts at 7pm so get there early to claim your spot on the route! You don't want to miss this. This lakeside celebration on the Lake Howard Trail at Heritage Park will be from 5 - 7pm. Bring chairs and enjoy food trucks and friends before the highly anticipated Christmas Boat Parade drives right by. There will be man powered boats, kayaks, canoes and paddleboards! Join us for an evening celebrating our lakes, Christmas, and Community!

12/3/2016 6:30 PM (Community Events) Christmas Boat Parade
The Boat Parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. The route will start on Lake May and go to Lake Howard taking a right out of the canal and head towards the Lake Howard Trail and Heritage Park. The boats will travel counterclockwise and go around Lake Howard to reenter the canal just past Old Man Franks. They will go back through the canal into Lake May, cut across Lake May to the canal entering into Lake Shipp. The boats will take a right out of the canal and travel counterclockwise past Lake Shipp Park, Harborside, and the Lake Shipp boat ramp. They will enter back into Lake May to finish the parade at Marine Supply. The mini boat parade on Lake Howard will start at the Lake Howard boat ramp and once the boats have past, they will file in behind them. They will travel to Heritage Park and then turn to go back to the boat ramp.

Performances are at 6:30 & 7:30 p.m. Following the nativity presentation, guests will gather in Bethlehem Square for food and drink and in-door activities for the children. Chit Chat & Interact Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:00 a.m. Parents and caregivers share interactive play time with children in order to continue building early literacy skills taught in story time.
