This parade is to celebrate Homecoming for secondary and post-secondary schools in the Greater Winter Haven area including, All Saints' Academy, Chain of Lakes Collegiate, Lake Region, New Beginnings, Winter Haven High School, and Polk State College. There will be a post parade festival in MLK Park immediately following the parade which will include music, a ski show, vendors, homecoming court presentations, and more. The parade route will start at Dennison Stadium and travel west on Ave. C SE, turn north onto 3rd St. SW and continue to Ave. F NW.

The 2016 Celebrity Lip Sync Battle will feature ten local celebrities, battling against each other through two rounds of epic, lip sync performances! Our panel of judges will select award winners, and you will determine the People’s Choice Award. The evening will be rounded out with complimentary wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres and desserts. The event is a fundraiser for Cypress Junction Montessori and Winter Haven Public Education Partnership. Both organizations work to provide quality public education options to all children in Winter Haven. Mark your calendar for this unforgettable event at Theatre Winter Haven on October 13, 2016. The mic may be off, but the battle is on!

This is the inaugural fishing tournament hosted by Auburndale Sr. FFA Alumni. There will be awards for the top three teams/boats for the highest weight of fish caught and the Big Fish award to the person who catches the biggest fish. There will be a light breakfast for the tournament teams, a concession stand with food and FFA t-shirts. This fundraiser is to support sponsoring AHS FFA students attending leadership conferences and workshops, banquet awards, and the annual community Farm Day in the spring.
