The City of Winter Haven is considering a number of projects, which could be funded through a Bond. As part of the process, the City is gathering input from the public regarding support for the projects and funding sources. Opportunities planned to inform and gather as much public information as possible include an online survey, a public forum to voice opinions, and a public project information meeting.

The Recreation Improvement and Funding online survey is available on the City's Website at www.mywinterhaven.com from March 30—April 10. This is an opportunity to provide support for proposed projects and offer funding opinions. http://goo.gl/olpBue

The Recreation Improvement and Funding Public Forum will be hosted by City Manager Deric C. Feacher at the Chain of Lakes Complex, 210 Cypress Gardens Blvd., Tuesday, April 14 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. This meeting is an opportunity to voice opinions and comments regarding proposed City projects and their proposed funding source.

The Proposed Recreation Improvement Project Information Meeting will be organized so participants can quickly learn about each proposed project and ask questions with a variety of staff members. Anyone can be part of this engagement process by attending the meeting Monday, April 20 from 5:30—7:30 p.m. at the Chain O' Lakes Complex.
