Purge Your Pills Prescription Drop Off Bring all your unwanted or expired medications to the Winter Haven Police Department, 125 N. Lake Silver Drive. Help protect our environment, do not throw medications in the garbage or flush down the toilet. All medications are to be secured in a clear air-tight sealed plastic bag. Unwanted medications can also be dropped off at the Haines City Police Department, 25400 U.S. 27 N., or the Lakeland Police Department, 219 N. Massachusetts Ave. This event is also sponsored by Polk County, Inneract Alliance, Publix Pharmacies and SALT (Seniors and Law Enforcement Together. Saturday Afternoon Movie Join us at the Winter Haven Public Library for an afternoon movie that the entire family can enjoy! Saturday Afternoon Movies take place on the second and fourth Saturday of each month at 2 p.m. (*unless otherwise noted) in the Multi-Purpose Room. Movie titles are intended for a family audience and typically have a rating of G, PG and sometimes PG-13. Admission is FREE and refreshments are available for a small charge.Movie Schedule |

Back to School Jam Hosted by the Youth Recreation Board, this will be a night of fun, music and activities for teens, age 14-17.
