Egg Hunt 2011 The City of Winter Haven annual Egg Hunt will be April 23, 2011 at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park, 250 S. Lake Silver Dr. NW The first egg hunt is at 10 a.m. Age groups are: 0-3, 4-5, 6-7 and 9 years old. This year lots of activities will include bounce houses, a kiddie train, face painting, a balloon artist, and a live D.J. The Winter Haven Police Department will be there to make Ident-A-Kid kits for children, and the Winter Haven Fire Department will bring the Fire Safety House. The Bunny will also make an appearance for pictures. Free refreshments will be provided. A free raffle drawing for children and parents will be at 11:30 a.m. Children can enter to win baskets, and parents can win prizes to local attractions and restaurants. Saturday Afternoon Movie Join us at the Winter Haven Public Library for an afternoon movie that the entire family can enjoy! Saturday Afternoon Movies take place on the second and fourth Saturday of each month at 2 p.m. (*unless otherwise noted) in the Multi-Purpose Room. Movie titles are intended for a family audience and typically have a rating of G, PG and sometimes PG-13. Admission is FREE and refreshments are available for a small charge.Movie Schedule |
