Arrillaga Family Gymnasium – Court #1
Thanks to the vision of John Arrillaga and his architectural team as well as the skilled construction by Vance Brown Builders, Menlo Park is now home to one of the premier public gymnasium facilities in the Bay area. Menlo Park's 5000 annual basketball players and 700 annual volleyball players, as well as scores of other family users now have a first-class place to call their own for all kinds of court sports and other activities. The Gymnasium features two full-sized basketball courts, three volleyball courts, and four badminton courts. Additionally, some of the building's "Green" features include: (1) Super-high efficiency air conditioning. (2) Operable windows in clerestory for natural ventilation. (3) Daylight lighting controls that adjust lighting to maintain a constant light level and decrease energy use by 9%. (4) Concrete roof tiles with a high reflectivity index to reduce heat absorption. The Arrillaga Family Gymnasium is located at 600 Alma Street, Menlo Park, CA 94025 next to Burgess Park and the Arrillaga Recreation Center.

The Onetta Harris Community Center is located at 100 Terminal Ave, Menlo Park, CA 94025 next to the Belle Haven Pool, Menlo Park Senior Center, Beechwood School, and the newly renovated Kelly Park. The gym features one full court or two smaller courts, male and female locker rooms, bleachers, and a scoreboard (prior approval needed). No food is allowed inside the gymnasium.
