City of Menlo Park Refund Policy


If you cannot attend an activity or find the class is not meeting your expectations, you can request a 1) transfer, 2) refund or 3) credit. If the class has not started yet, you can request to transfer the funds to another class or receive a credit on your account and the $15.00 processing fee will be waived. Customers can also complete a refund online in order to transfer into another class or credit your account if it is 48 hours before the class start date with no penalty (some exclusions do apply). Please note that you have one year from the date the credit was applied to your account to use it before it expires. If you prefer to receive a refund, a $15.00 processing fee will be deducted from the full or prorated fee based on the date of the request, unless otherwise noted in our publications. No credit card or check refunds can be issued online. All refund or transfer requests for classes with material fees or with two or fewer class meetings must be received one week prior to the class starting date. If the course is cancelled, you will receive a full refund or you can request to transfer to another class. There are no refunds for non-attendance (no shows) or materials fees.

We will make every attempt to meet the customer's expectations or will provide a refund or credit. You must notify us before the end of the class session to receive a refund or credit.
