Spring Ayurveda: Nutrition and Self Care by BTWC
March 19
(Saturday)
Ayurveda teaches us to live in harmony with nature’s cycles and adjust our daily habits and routines as the seasons change. Spring brings dampness and warming temperatures. We can see this reflected in nature as the snow melts and is mirrored in our bodies as we tend towards excess mucus and the desire to cleanse and rejuvenate. You may notice that you crave lighter foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables and less of the heavier dense foods like root vegetables and red meats. Come learn some easy ways to adjust your diet and lifestyle, regardless of your natural constitution, for Springtime.
