Healthy Brain, Vibrant Life by BTWC
January 22
(Saturday)
Did you know that our brains do NOT stop growing after our early twenties? It has been discovered that given the proper environment and following the recommended diet and lifestyle, you can keep growing new brain cells FOR YOUR ENTIRE LIFE. Growing new brain cells = neurogenesis. Why should you care? Higher rates of neurogenesis are associated with elevated immunity, higher cognitive function, emotional vitality and resilience, protection from stress, anxiety, and depression, better memory, faster learning, and enhanced overall brain function. In this class we will discuss the top four foods to include for growing new brain cells as well as dive deeper into other diet and lifestyle tips. Followed by a food demo of spiced cauliflower soup.
