Picnic Areas The City of Menlo Park has picnic areas at both Burgess and Nealon Park available for rent. These areas are great for family picnics, summer BBQ's, and more! Other parks with picnic areas are available on a first-come first-serve basis. |
 | Burgess Park – Picnic Area #1 The Burgess Park has 7 picnic areas. Five of them are located together near the Burgess Park restrooms. The other two are located inside the playground area. This site is one of the five located near the Burgess Park restrooms and includes 3 tables and 1 BBQ. A single picnic group or the collective total of all of the reservations can not exceed 100 people. The Burgess Picnic Areas are located off Burgess Drive between Laurel & Alma Streets.
