Five parcels of land, approximately 11.107 acres more or less (Parcel numbers 2901609210016VA, 290160921B01400, 290160921B01500, 29016080800000, and 290160826000000), Zoned I-1 Industrial, containing two commercial structures, and more commonly known as 481 Columbus Street, Wilmington, Ohio.
The property was purchased by the Water Department for possible water plant expansion, is no longer needed, and as such has been declared surplus property by the Council of the City of Wilmington by Ordinance No. O-16-52, dated August 4, 2016. The property has been authorized for sale by the Council of the City of Wilmington, Ordinance No. O-17-45, dated August 17, 2017, and pursuant to provisions defined in O.R.C. 721.03.
The reserve price on this property is set at $41,600.
Bidders are privileged to have a professional inspection done of said property prior to submitting a bid. The inspection is only an opportunity to better inform the bidder – no additional changes to the buildings or lot will be made. The inspection period for the property will be from January 2, 2018, through January 16, 2018. Access to the property for professional inspections must be pre-scheduled at least 24 hours in advance with Rick Schaffer, Water Superintendent, at (937) 382-3614.
A site tour and pre-bid meeting will held at the property on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at 1:00 p.m.

South Street, Wilmington, OH 45177, no later than 4:00 p.m. on January 15, 2018. Responses to questions will be posted to the City website as they are received and answered.
The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals; to waive any informalities in the bidding, and to enter into the agreement with the bidder who, in their consideration, offers the highest and best bid. If there are two or more equal bids, the City will conduct a random drawing to select the bidder with whom to enter into negotiations. Closing and delivery of deed shall take place within 30 days of award of bid.
