Use this form to report tall grass/weeds.
Grass height is limited to 6 inches (exceptions for approved landscaping areas and vacant land more than 10 ft from the sidewalk or 100 ft from residential property).
The Village process for tall grass enforcement is: (1) initial warning tag is posted; (2) second warning posted after 7 days; (3) Village contractor will be provided the address for a nuisance abatement mow if the grass is not cut 14 days after the first warning. The property owner will be invoiced for the cost of the work plus an administrative fee. Unpaid invoices will be filed as a lien against the property.
