Whether you are an art collector, wish to start collecting, need artwork for your home or office or merely desire to support the arts, then join us in downtown Sarasota on January 17-18, 2015 for the 3rd Annual Sarasota Winter Fine Art Festival. Thanks to your response and support of this event the show has garnered a Top 100 national ranking by two of the national event ranking systems. Graciously hosted by the Humane Society of Sarasota County (HSSC), Gulfstream Avenue will blossom into an extraordinary outdoor gallery of original and handmade fine art as artisans from across America journey to Sarasota. These artists will weave a tapestry of art from spectacular creations in painting, sculpting, jewelry, photography, glass, ceramics, fiber and wearable art, mixed-media, woodworking and more. If you do not find what you seek then speak with the artist and consider commissioning a unique piece of art made specifically for you! Realize that many of these artisans are represented in the nation's most prestigious private art collections and public institutions and all will be available throughout the show. Join the Gardeners along with students from Ringling School of Arts and Design and New College who willbe completing several projects around the garden.

2542 17th Street, Sarasota, FL 34234 Learn how to walk adoptable Cat Depot cats on a leash and harness to provide the cats with much needed physical and mental stimulation. If you are interested in attending, you must register online or email Cody at In a shelter environment, we try to provide as much stimulation for the cats and kittens as possible to reduce stress and boredom. Teaching cats and kittens to walk on a leash not only provides stimulation, it improves social skills and increases their ability to adapt to new environments. It can also bring attention to some cats who normally do not stand out in a large group, increasing their chances of getting adopted.
