The show will feature hundreds of beautiful quilts of all styles traditional bed quilts to award winning wall art. Panel Discussion: brownsville song (b-side for tray) Monday, March 6 at 5:00pm Join us for an in-depth discussion moderated by Chief Judge Charles E. Williams with special guests: Psychologist Dr. Eddy Regnier: State Council on Black Men and Boys, and Trevor Harvey, Regional Director of NAACP. Joining the discussion will be Alice M. Gatling and Wesley T. Jones from brownsville song (b-side for tray). About the discussion: Tamir Rice was 12 when he was killed. Trayvon Martin was walking down a suburban street in his sweatshirt while eating a candy bar when he was killed. The deaths of black boys and young men captured headlines and exposed the vulnerabilities of these young men and boys to the biases of society. brownsville song explores the face and heart behind the statistic. What are the influences and what can we do as a culture to help will be covered. Join Chief Judge Charles E. Williams, Psychologist Dr. Eddy Regnier, Trevor Harvey, and actors Alice M. Gatling and Wesley T. Jones for an insightful look at the young character, Tray and the challenging forces that surround him. This event is free to attend, but reservations must be made in advance. Should you not find exactly what you want, commission a piece made just for you! Hours are 10 am to 5 pm both Saturday and Sunday. Admission and parking are free.
