Join us at our 2nd annual F.R.E.E. T.H.E.M. Art and Awareness Event on Friday, January 24, 2014in honor of National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month in January. The human trafficking awareness event is co-organized by the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force and Cottonwood Church.
Itís been said that a picture is worth a thousand words. Human trafficking is an untold story to most of the nation and even in our own community; and we could not think of a better way to tell the victims' stories than through the arts. Since 2004, the OC Human Trafficking Task Force has assisted over 350 victims, U.S. and foreign national, sex and labor trafficking, adult and minor, female and male.
This event is open to the public. Free to attend. Family friendly. All ages welcomed and encouraged.
