1st Inspection/Form Inspection - Once the existing driveway apron has been removed or soil has been removed to a uniform depth as required by the above and applicable forms are in place.

Culvert Pipe: If a culvert pipe is required for the free flow of water within the right-of-way, the minimum diameter shall be twelve (12") inches. The pipe shall meet Hamilton County standards for ROW culvert pipes as to location and specified type.

New Subdivisions: Hamilton County Subdivision Standards for Driveway Aprons are to be followed including standards for location, configuration, slope, and sidewalk placement.

PIPE INSTALLATION/OPEN PAVEMENT:

Material Specifications: We require a 3" scheduled 40 pipe. If you use a larger pipe, then you have to reduce this pipe to fit our 3" size pipe.

Inspection Requirements:

The first inspection is after the curb cut is made.

The final inspection is before the pipe is covered.

NOTE: 24-HOUR NOTICE IS REQUIRED FOR ALL INSPECTIONS

If the permit holder does not call for a final inspection within one (1) year of obtaining the permit, the permit will be nullified and a new permit will have to be secured.
