The City of Georgetown Electric Utility Department is accepting bids for the purchase of a 40 foot hydraulic telescopic bucket truck. Complete specifications may be obtained by contacting Alan Loveless or Harry Johnson at 843-545-4600. A specification sheet will be provided on which the vendor can indicate compliance or non-compliance with each desired specification. The City of Georgetown reserves the right to analyze the bids and information provided to determine the best combination of value and features, to waive any technicalities or informalities, and to accept or reject any and/or all proposals as deemed by its sole judgement to be in its best interest. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly labeled “40 ft Aerial Bucket Truck” on the outside. Bids will be opened publically at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 3, 2014, at the City of Georgetown Electric Department, 800 Church Street, Georgetown, SC 29440.
