The City seeks a professional marketing and communications firm to provide comprehensive, strategic and innovative marketing and communications services to advance the City as a destination for tourists, businesses and new residents. Markets may be local, regional and beyond. The City would expect the contracted work to include developing a brand for the City that distinguishes it from other similar markets and that can be sustained through multiple marketing campaigns. Within efforts to build general brand awareness, the City would like to augment and complement the County of Georgetown Tourism Marketing Committee’s (TMC) campaigns with executions that directly benefit City products. The City would like to feature its historic downtown shopping and dining as well as the museum and public touring products. Marketing strategies should also incorporate the City’s rich array of community events and unique community assets, including the waterfront.
