The City of Georgetown, South Carolina, requests qualifications from firms experienced in providing general marine engineering design, consultation, permitting, bidding, construction management and inspection services necessary to conduct needed repairs and upgrades to the City’s public boat landing located at East Bay Park on the Sampit River. A copy of the Request for Qualifications including general requirements and instructions for submittal may be obtained from the link below, or by contacting Bonnie L. One (1) unbound original and three (3) copies of the firm’s submission are required and must be labeled “RFQ for Marine Engineering Services for Repairs and Upgrades to East Bay Park Boat Landing”, and received by the City no later than 3:00 pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. No RFQ will be accepted after its due date and time specified above. Faxed or emailed proposals will not be accepted for any reason. The City reserves the right to waive any technicalities or informalities and to accept or reject any and/or all submissions as deemed by its sole judgment to be in its best interest. The City also reserves the right to terminate the selection process without notice, to waive any irregularities in any submittal, and to request additional information from any of the firms submitting an RFQ. All costs relating to the preparation and delivery of the RFQ shall be borne by the participating firm.
