DESCRIPTION:The Polar Express™\nThe Polar Express™ with the Village of Antioch was a huge success and we hope to see you this year! The 3.5 hour round-trip excursion comes to life as the train departs the Antioch Metra Station for a journey to the “North Pole”. Children will join in and sing as our conductor goes around checking each of them in. Children’s faces show the magic of the season when the train arrives at the “North Pole”.  Santa will join the group in between keeping an eye on the elves who are busy making the toys for Christmas.  Christmas carols will be sung as they return back to the Antioch Metra Station.  THE POLAR EXPRESS™ begins to run on December 12, 13, 19, 20.  Departing from Antioch at 11 a.m. and arriving back from the “North Pole” at 2:35 p.m.  Tickets are $20.00 a person and includes lunch, crafts, hot chocolate, cookies and visit from Santa.  There must be a least one parent with every 3 children.  Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. and are limited to anyone on a first come first serve basis!  Tickets may only be purchased at the Parks Office.  There will be no online or phone registration for this event.
