What are the hours of operation for City Hall?
City Hall is open to the public Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. City Hall is closed to the public on Tuesdays, but our vestibule is open and a computer kiosk is available.

How can I pay my bill when City Hall is closed?
A number of bill payment options are available 24/7 including online bill payment through the City's website, 24/7 drop box on the south side of the City Hall/Library building, and mail-in payment using pre-addressed envelopes. More information on all the options is available in this flyer.

When are City Commission meetings held?
City Commission meetings are generally held the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month starting at 7:30 pm. They are held at Sturgis City Hall, 130 N. Nottawa.

What days is recycling collected?
For homes north of US-12 collection is the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month. For homes south of US-12, collection is the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month. During months with five Thursdays, there is NO recycling collection on the fifth Thursday.
