No Parking on North Street

For approximately the next 90 days, there will be no parking on North St. from Chicago Rd. to West St. due to utility construction. There will likely be intermittent street closures on North St. during this time as well.

Leaf Pick-Up Begins November 2nd

The Department of Public Services will begin our 26th year of leaf pickup and community composting program. DPS crews will begin picking up leaves with heavy equipment on November 2nd following the same route as they do with brush pick up. They will start North of Chicago Rd and West of N Nottawa working their way across the North side of town and then through the South side. 2015 Hydrant Flushing Schedule

The City of Sturgis Department of Public Services will be flushing hydrants in September following this schedule. This is a tentative schedule subject to weather conditions.

MONDAY, SEPT 28TH – WE WILL BE FLUSHING ALL FIRE HYDRANTS ON FAWN RIVER RD AND SOUTH OF FAWN RIVER RD.

TUESDAY, SEPT 29TH – THE AREA SOUTH OF EAST CHICAGO ROAD AND EAST OF SOUTH NOTTAWA STREET.
