Location: Ski-A-Rees Stadium located on City Island 2013 Winter show season will begin on Feb. 3rd and run every Sunday through May 19th. Admission to show is free. Watch in awe as we dazzle you with thrilling jumps and tricks, breathtaking pyramids, beautiful ballet and swivel lines, doubles, trios, skiing barefoot and many more feats that will surely entertain the entire family. It's always fun and always free! Established in 1957, the Sarasota Ski-A-Rees is a non-profit organization open to anyone interested in learning about and developing skills related to water skiing, water safety. With the ongoing support of the City of Sarasota, the Ski-A-Rees have been able to present free weekly water ski shows that have become a Sarasota tradition for 56 years.

It is not about politics - it is about the protection of our coastal economies, oceans, marine wildlife and fisheries. Embracing a clean energy future now is the path to a sustainable planet. It's a path to ending global warming and climate change. It's a path to a better future for our children and grandchildren. 10:00 am - we'll have free bagels and coffee for event participants, and S.C.A.T. will be handing out free round-trip bus passes. 10:30am: LOW-CARBON CARAVAN: Ride your bike, board the bus, or join an electric vehicle parade to the beach. 11:00am: CONVERGE ON THE BEACH: There will be a tent set up in the shade about 100 yards East of the main pavilion where you can pick up informational materials and learn from a variety of speakers what you can do to reduce your dependence on fossil fuels. 11:30am: JOIN HANDS: Join hands with fellow community members for a few minutes.
