Use this form to request that we, the City of Sarasota, put a new calendar item onto our web site.
The purpose of the City of Sarasota Calendar is to provide events and scheduling information of general public interest within Sarasota City Limits and so it is maintained as Non-Public Forum. Those organizations that wish to have an event posted can submit the information on the form here. Once the information has been submitted, checked and approved, the event should be posted within 2 to 3 days. The City reserves the right to determine what events shall and shall not be placed on the Calendar. Acceptable events shall be appropriate to all regardless of ethnic origin, gender, or other factors. Unacceptable events contant nudity/pornography, adult and or hate language, and will be strictly prohibited.
Events are posted to the Community Calendar by authorized City of Sarasota staff in accordance with the following entry standards, only one category for your event:
- City Commission meetings, workshops
- Advisory Boards
- Committee meetings
- Music/Theater
- Athletic Events
- Art Exhibits/Museums
- Festivals/Special Events
