DESCRIPTION:The Committee to Save the Bird Homestead will present a free guided Spring Flower Walk on the Meeting House grounds and the adjoining Bird property on Saturday, May 4, at 4:00 pm.  Naturalist Alison Beall, Curator Emerita of Marshlands Conservancy, will lead the program. She will discuss the structure and botanical characteristics of the trees and wildflowers in bloom and their folklore.  The walk will also include cultivated flowers and shrubs planted by the Bird family many decades ago.  \nThe walk will start outside the Meeting House, 624 Milton Road.
