When are the City Commission meetings?
The Piqua City Commission meets at 7:30 PM on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday each month. The meeting is usually rescheduled to another day whenever City offices are closed on a Tuesday due to a holiday. For more info: www.piquaoh.org/comm_meetings.htm
Where is the City Manager's office located?
The City Manager's office is located on the second floor of the Municipal Government Complex at 201 W. Water Street. The hours of the City Manager's office are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday - Friday except for City holidays.
How do I dismiss a criminal charge?
The only person that can dismiss a criminal charge is the prosecutor. If you are the victim on a case and no longer wish to pursue the charges, you should appear at the pre-trial and speak with the prosecutor.
Can the City Law Director represent me in a civil matter?
No. The law director is the legal advisor to the City of Piqua, its administration and its boards and commissions. The law director cannot advise citizens on legal matters.
How do I find out what day my refuse and recycling is scheduled to be picked up?
Contact the Health and Sanitation Department at 778-2060 during normal business hours to find out what day of the week the refuse and recycling pickup is scheduled for your neighborhood or review the Route Map.
