Walk-ins welcome. Spa treatments and hair cuts, over 25 silent auction items will be on display for bidding from October 1 until the day of the event, auction ends at 5:00. Ann Basilone-Jones, executive director of Milan Museum, will talk on "Milan: the Canal Era," at 7 p.m. Milan was the second largest inland seaport in the world in the mid-Nineteenth Century, sending the grain raised in this area to Lake Erie to be shipped to the East Coast on the Erie Canal. Advent of railroads gradually took this shipping away from the ships.

Uptown Norwalk Merchant Trick or Treat and Jaycees Halloween Parade. Trick or Treat with our Uptown Historic District Merchants from 11am-12pm then walk on the WILD SIDE with the Norwalk Jaycees in the annual Halloween Parade at 12pm. Registration will begin at 11:45am-costume prizes given!

Norwalk Main Street Theatre, 57 E. Main. The Backbeats were a huge success last year when they performed, so you won’t want to miss them this time around! This show has two costume changes taking them from Early Beatles to Sergeant Pepper. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Reserved Seats in the first ten rows are $12.00 and General Admission Seating is $8.00. 10/31/2009 8:00 PM Zombie Walk & "Night of the Living Dead"
Norwalk Main Street Theatre, 57 E. Main Street, is hosting a “Zombie Walk.” Come dressed as your favorite Zombie: Zombie Bride, Zombie Doctor, Zombie office worker, Zombie Postal Worker, the possibilities are limitless!! We will meet at the theatre at 8:00 p.m. on Halloween and start the walk down Main Street at 8:30 p.m. (on the sidewalk) and walk 3 blocks and come back on the other side of the street back to the theatre where we will watch the classic Zombie movie that started it all: the 1968 Black and White version of “Night of the Living Dead.” This movie is not rated. The cost is $3.00 for just the walk, $3.00 for just the movie or $5.00 for both the walk and the movie,. The movie will start at 9:30 p.m. Everyone MUST check-in at the theatre and purchase a ticket to participate in the walk.
