Spring Brush Pickup - Regular Trash Day
The bi-annual city-wide brush pick-up will be held the week of April 30th on your regular trash day for residents living on streets dedicated to the city.
•Place cut brush on curb on your regular trash pickup day.
•Do not place entire large trees or bushes on the curb for pickup.
•Brush is to be stacked neatly with no roots, stumps, or soil attached.
•Branches are to be no longer than 6 feet.
•If you have a narrow boulevard, you may place brush neatly on the back side of the sidewalk.
•No more than one pick-up truck load will be collected from a residence.
•Brush will only be collected once. No return trips will be made.

"Wildflower Walk & Talk"
Huron County Master Gardeners, Rails to Trails on N. West Street. Shannon Ditz, Huron County Master Gardener Volunteer and the Huron County Ambassador to the Heritage Gardens at the Governor's Residence, will be presenting her "Wildflower Walk & Talk" on Saturday, May 5th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Rails to Trails on N. West St. in Norwalk. You will start with a short intro and talk in the parking lot before the walk. You may want to bring a camera, notebook and/or guidebook. Wear comfortable shoes. If you've never been to this park, this is an excellent opportunity to check it out this hidden gem. This walk will be on a relatively flat, hard gravel surface path. In the event of severe weather, the walk and talk will be cancelled. Call 419-668-8219 for more information.
