STORM PREPAREDNESS UPDATE:

1. Tuesday garbage collection is postponed until Wednesday. If another postponement is necessary, we will update this information.
2. The Public Works Manager advises that his crews are actively salting roadways and he has an adequate salt supply to handle the storm.
3. If you lose power, it is important that you notify JCP&L at 1-888-LIGHTSS (1-888-544-4877). Don’t assume that your neighbors have called.
4. The Borough’s municipal center has an emergency generator. If power outages are reported, we will open the municipal center, gymnasium area for warming and cellphone charging.
5. NO vehicles may be parked on the streets during this snow event. It is essential that plows are able to clear the full width of the roadways.

8. New Providence gas stations are open.
