To request an Interlibrary Loan you must comply with the following:
∙ Borrower must be at least 18 years of age and have a Mooresville Public Library card in good standing.
∙ The requested item must be at least 6 months old.
∙ Titles already owned by our library may not be requested.
∙ Interlibrary Loan requests will be limited to 2 items at one time. This includes requests that may be in process or those that have been received.
∙ Loan periods are not determined by the Mooresville Public Library and will vary depending on the institution lending the material.
∙ Materials borrowed through Interlibrary Loan must be picked up and returned at the Reference Desk only. Please do not place items in the book drop.
∙ Late fees for interlibrary loan materials are $1 per day.
∙ The borrower is responsible for damage or loss of materials.
Currently, the Mooresville Public Library absorbs the cost of this service for patrons. However, any Interlibrary Loan materials that are not picked up within seven days of notification will be fined $3 to recover shipping cost. We cannot request Audio-Visual materials (cassettes, videotapes, DVDs, etc.).
