 | Fitness The City of Montgomery offers a variety of fitness opportunities at our Annex Building with a focus on a wide range of development areas from strength, flexibility and cardio endurance for all ages and abilities. Classes focus on current trends in programming taught by qualified and certified instructors that keep participants motivated, safe and progressing throughout the program.
Classes can be geared toward specific age groups, physical abilities and targeted results. Participants are asked to bring a water bottle, wear appropriate clothing and bring equipment as specified in the class descriptions. Some basic equipment, a water cooler, parking and restrooms are provided in the facility. The Annex Building is also heated and cooled appropriately for the weather for your comfort.

 | Special Events The City of Montgomery is excited about the variety of community events we offer to showcase our parks, businesses and local organizations to our residents. Special events are one-day type unique community venues that offer participants a way to socialize within the community, meet up with neighbors and friends, and thoroughly enjoy the “community” feel of Montgomery. Special Events range anywhere from large scale festivals like our Sister City Celebration, Bastille Day, to a diverse and patriotic Independence Day parade to our lunch-time concert series at Swaim Park. All of the special events bring together a quality mix of vendors, participants, city services and local organizations to strengthen the bonds between them with fun, laughter and good memories.

 | Youth Kids go crazy for something fun to do that challenges them, teaches them new skills with hands-on experience or just allows them creative, imaginative freedom. Montgomery offers a variety of programming geared towards bringing kids together in an interactive setting with skilledMontgomery CSI Camp instructors that build them up, encourage them and give them lasting skills that can be applied to a variety of life activities and values from swimming, cooking, artistic expression, sharing, admiring nature and thinking freely.  | Adult Development Life enrichment courses for adults looking to expand their talents, capitalize on their interests and just grow as a person are offered throughout the year. Classes range from artistic focuses such as scrap-booking and calligraphy to educational focuses such as cooking and web based shopping. These classes are usually a one time special offering put together in partnership with local professionals and experts based on feedback on special interests in the community or local trends. Watch for something that just piques your interest or call us with an idea and take advantage of these development classes tailored to meet your needs and grow you as a person.

 | Camps Kids can’t wait to come skipping up the path to another day of adventure, learning, hands-on experimenting, crafting or just playing as part of the diverse range of camps offered through the City of Montgomery. All camps include interactive fun on field trips, themed activities, special guests and time for youthful play all under the supervision of trained, friendly and energetic camp counselors. Counselors are selected based on their experience with kids, are CPR and First Aid trained and certified through our Montgomery Fire Department, and come to camp looking to enrich the lives of the kids they interact with. Transportation at camps is contracted with the Sycamore Schools for buses and drivers. There is something for all kids in this lineup of summer fun!

 | Athletics/Sports Take your first step as a beginner or focus on strengthening your sport specific skills through the sport camps, lessons and trainings offered for kids and adults. With options ranging from intro classes to competitive summer long sport clubs, participants can gain what they are looking for in a park or facility right here in Montgomery. Many of the sport programs are offered through the City of Montgomery in partnership with professional, certified, trained instructors that bring a wealth of skills and knowledge to their instruction.

 | Pool The City of Montgomery Community Pool is located at 8075 Hopewell Road and is a family friendly facility with many unique amenities and services for our members and community residents. There is a complete spectrum of swim lessons for kids with any skill level, interactive parent-child play classes, a locally competitive self-development focused swim team, water aerobic classes, scuba certification class, monthly special events, rental options and many other quality services that keep our members coming back year after year for more cool relief and a splashing good time with new friends, neighbors and great family memories.
