Community Wide Garage Sale
Bargain-hunters and those who enjoy finding a curbside deal are the target customers for the joint City of Montgomery Community -wide Garage Sale and Twin Lakes Whale of a Sale, set for Saturday, September 8, 2012, from 9 AM until 1 PM. This grassroots public awareness campaign is to promote reuse, repair and resale opportunities in the City of Montgomery.
Registration is open for those households who are interested in participating. There is no fee to participate. The City will publicize the event.
Twin Lakes’ Whale of Sale will also be open for customers on Friday, September 7 from 10 AM until 5 PM at 9876 Montgomery Road.
A Garage Sale Treasure Map and a complete listing of locations will be available at Montgomery City Hall at 10101 Montgomery Road starting on Wednesday September 5, 2012 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on the website at www.montgomeryohio.org . Treasure Maps will also be handed out at City Hall on the morning of the sales, beginning at 8:00 AM.
