Loranger Square, Downtown Monroe - Walk to raise awareness and dollars to assist low-income Monroe County Residents who are facing utility related emergencies during the cold winter months. 100% of the money is distributed back into our community. The Walk begins at 4:00 p.m. with a route through downtown Monroe and highlighting historic homes. The event is the kick off for Homeless Awareness Week. Pledge sheets available at 1140 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, MI 48161. All walkers with pledges receive a free MCOP back sack. Questions can be referrred to Sandy Wilson 734-241-2775 ext. 233 of BillieJo Dye 734-241-2775 ext. 228. |
