Use this form to request an incident report or other information not addressed separately involving the City of Monroe Police Department.

Information will not be released regarding open investigations or incidents where the suspect has not been arraigned.

Information such as an individuals date of birth, age, employer, home address, telephone number(s), personal information identifying juveniles, or other information that may constitute an unwarranted invasion of privacy may be redacted from the released documents.

The City of Monroe may charge a reasonable fee for research, duplication, and redaction. The average cost of an incident report is $5 and includes all standard forms. Additional charges may incur for excessively large reports and/or pictures. Should the anticipated research, duplication, or redaction time be excessive, the City has the right to request a partial payment in advance of the work being completed.

The Michigan Freedom of Information Act allows five business days to respond to a request with an additional ten business days permitted as an extension.
