The City of Monroe provides water service to much of Monroe County. On rare occasions, demands or changes in the water supply or pipeline conditions may effect water quality or pressure.

Please use the information on this form to attempt to correct water quality problems and, if necessary, to contact the City to schedule a service visit.

Tips

Rusty Water – Run your water (cold only) until your water is clear (usually 15~20 minutes).

Low Pressure – Unscrew and cleanout your faucet aerator screens as they can eventually buildup deposits. Following this, run your water (cold only) until pressure improves (usually 15~20 minutes).

Taste - Run your water (cold only) for a short while (usually 15~20 minutes) to see if taste improves.

Odor - Run your water (cold only) for a short while (usually 15~20 minutes) to see if the odor dissipates.
