It is the intention of the City of Monroe to maintain a clean and safe environment for all of its residents and patrons. Please help us by reporting any suspected violation of the blight ordinance so that we may initiate corrective action.

Storage of a motor vehicle on public or private property out-of-doors shall be prohibited when:

-The motor vehicle is not licensed for use upon the public highways of Michigan, except when such vehicle is neatly and properly covered with an approved cover.
-The motor vehicle is inoperative for any reason for a period in excess of five days.
