Free Compost Available in Menlo Park Menlo Park residents are invited to pick up free compost at Bedwell Bayfront Park on June 2nd during regular park hours while supply lasts. BAY-AREA GARDEN-FRIENDLY PARKING LOT EVENT The majority of a home’s water is used for landscaping which increases in warmer weather. Learn how to decrease outdoor water use by attending a Bay-Area Garden-Friendly Parking Lot Event. The City of Menlo Park has partnered with the Bay Area Water Supply and Conservation Agency (BAWSCA), Home Depot and other local water agencies to co-sponsor a Bay-Area Garden Friendly Parking Lot Event on Saturday, June 2nd from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the East Palo Alto Home Depot Store located at 1781 E.
