Senior Services
Menlo Park's Senior Center is located in the Belle Haven neighborhood, and offers health, recreational, educational, cultural and social services for adults aged 55 and older. (Senior services at the "Little House" are not provided by the City.) Free transportation to and from the Senior Center (6,500 trips annually) is provided, along with nutritious hot meals (8,200 meals annually) and weekly brown bag meals (5,700 annually). Staff coordinates free medical consultations and screenings from the County, and schedules informational presentations regarding insurance, nutrition and tax advice. Over 100 classes are offered annually (exercise/movement, arts and crafts, sewing, cooking and language). The center operates 30 hours a week.

Café Menlo

We offer a variety of healthy food every weekday from noon to 1 pm. You are invited to join us and gather with people in y our community. Beneficial donation $2.50 for seniors and $5.75 for non-seniors are significant because they support the senior center activities. To receive our monthly menu, call 650.330.2287. Come early because the food is so good, we always run out!

Farmer's Market

Want to live longer? With your fresh weekly vegetables, fruits, herbs, and eggs ound at our beautiful, convenient, volunteer-run farmers' market, you are able to increase your longevity by eating healthier. Healthy Choices

Take charge of your wellbeing! FREE blood pressure and blood sugar health screenings are offered to seniors over 62 on the 2nd Tuesday and the 4th Thursday of the month from 9:30 - 11am at the Menlo Park Senior Center. Insurance Counseling

Confused about Medicare benefits? Need to compare insurances? Help is here! Counselors from HICAP are accessible and can meet you at the Menlo Park Senior Center to offer valuable medical insurance information and comparison of policies you may be considering.
