(Community Events) Farmer's Market on the Landing Every Monday, starting June 14th - October 11th, the Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring a Farmer’s Market from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m., at the South Public Landing Parking Lot, at 10th & Commerce. There will be numerous meat and produce vendors selling goods, as well as other “food” related vendors (i.e., cheeses, jams, etc.). Please tell all of your family and friends to come to the Farmer’s Market on the Landing every Monday!
After you visit the market….be sure to stroll down to Central Square for the Monday Night Car Shows - Cruisin’ Into Lockport.

(Community Events) Dedication of Train Station as a Landmark On Saturday morning, September 18, 2010, the Lockport station will be formally placed on the National Register of Historic Railroad Landmarks by the City of Lockport and by the National Railway Historical Society. A 24" x 18" rectangular bronze plaque provided by the National Railway Historical Society Historic Plaque Committee will be placed on the exterior of the station on this occasion. The ceremonies will commence at 10:00 AM and will be concluded by about 12 Noon. Coffee and cake will be served to all those in attendance immediately after the plaque is put in place.

(Community Events) National Prescription Drug Take Back Day DEA is asking for your help. As you know, prescription drugs are being misused and abused at alarming rates throughout the United States. As part of our efforts to address this problem, DEA will be collecting potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs for destruction at sites nationwide on Saturday, September 25th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time, all over the United States. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. Click the links below for a list of collection sites.
