This is a second sample to show how an employee like Krista Thiel, Director of the Township's Summer Camp, could potentially, with authorization, use the blog to post information about upcoming sign-ups for the summer camp and write about all of the fun activities the camp offers children every summer. She could discuss how the camp might utilize the sprayground at Clippard Park this year giving the children a new feature to enjoy close to home. As you can see, only a small portion of the blog will appear on the home page, just enough to give visitor to the sight a teaser so that they will follow the link to view the whole story that can be up to 8,000 characters long. This current blog is 722 characters long.

This is a sample blog where Trustees, department heads, and other authorized users can post blogs about current happenings in the Township. It is currently set to show only the most recent posting on the proposed new home page, but I believe we can have EC Link change this if you would like. If viewers click on the link for the blog, they will get a list of all of the active blogs for them to view. The blogs are very easy to set up and one of the steps in the set up will include a box to schedule an expiration date for the blog and it will be taken off of the site automatically.
