3/4/2015 7:00 PM Town Hall Meeting at Fire Station #3
On April 7, 2015 the citizens of the Village of Antioch, as well as those residing in the unincorporated areas, will be asked to vote on a referendum to create a .25% (.0025) tax rate to provide ambulance services in their community. The Village of Antioch, along with the First Fire Protection District, are scheduling two Town Hall Meetings to discuss the April 7, 2015 referendum question of funding for ambulance service in the community. Officials will host an open discussion regarding the services, address specifics of the referendum, and answer questions from the audience. A tour of the Fire Department facilities and equipment will also be provided. Town Hall sessions are scheduled as follows: Wednesday, March 4 at 7:00 pm – Fire Station #3: 24675 W. Grass Lake Road Thursday, March 19 at 7:00 pm – Fire Station #1: 835 Holbek Drive The Village of Antioch and First Fire Protection District urge all citizens to cast their ballots on this important issue. The Town Hall Meetings will provide details to the public on the issues related to EMS so that voters may make an informed decision.

New this year! The Village of Antioch will be holding its annual Mother Son Date Luncheon on Sunday, March 8th. There will be 2 different seating to choose from, 11:30 am or 1:30 pm. The Antioch Parks and Recreation Department is proud to present Magic Dave “Magical Mystery Show”; an event you and your boys will remember for years to come. Magic Dave will thrill you with everything from his award winning close-up magic to his sensational stage show presence. His spectacular magic captivates the audience and brings smiles of enjoyment to all. This year’s event will take place at Antioch Senior Center located at 817 Holbek Drive, Antioch. Tickets are on sale now at the Village of Antioch’s Parks and Recreation Department (806 Holbek Dr.). Cost is $10.00 per person and can also be purchased online at www.antioch.il.gov by clicking on the parks department and going to online registration. We have a limit of 104 tickets for sale per seating. If you have certain people you would like to sit with, please call the Parks Department and inform them. Ticket price includes the Magic Show, lunch buffet style lunch which includes Italian Beef, Fried Chicken, Mostaccioli, Green Salad, Beverages, and raffles. The "Concerned Citizens of Antioch Township" host an informational forum on the April EMS Referendum at the Antioch Township Building located at 1625 Deep Lake Road. Representatives from the First Fire Protection District and Village of Antioch will be present to answer resident questions. Come to the forum and be informed on how this referendum affects you.
