The Amberley Village Public Buildings & Grounds and Beautification Committees will hold a joint meeting to review the quotes received for the six elements of the Front Island Landscape Project and discuss fundraising opportunities for Beautification Committee projects (i.e. tree walk, lectures, other). This is an open meeting. The public is welcome to attend. |

| 10/15/2009 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM | Home Energy Efficiency Workshop
Montgomery will host A Green Home, a free energy efficiency workshop presented by guest lecturer Gerald Checco.
The workshop will be held Thursday, October 15, from 6:30 - 8:30 pm in Montgomery’s City Hall, 10101 Montgomery Road.
This workshop is free and open to the public. Seating is limited so register now by calling 891-2424 or Montgomery Ohio Website |

The Amberley Village Finance Committee will meet to discuss the Village's property and casualty insurance. This is an open meeting. The public is welcome to attend. |
| 10/19/2009 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM | AVBC Mtg.
The Amberley Village Beautification Committee meets regularly in the Community Room at Village Hall. The meetings are open to the public and Amberley residents are encouraged to volunteer regardless of experience. The committee plans a variety of activities throughout the year, from weeding and mulching to educational speakers.

| 10/25/2009 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM | Liberty Tree Celebration
On Sunday, October 25, from 2-4 p.m. at French Park, Amberley Village will join with the Village of Golf Manor and the City of Cincinnati (Roselawn) to host a party celebrating our recognition as Liberty Tree Towns.
The three municipalities jointly applied for Liberty Tree Town status as part of the Liberty Tree Memorial, a national program sponsored by the New Hampshire-based Elm Research Institute.
An American Liberty Elm tree was planted on Village Hall grounds, just south of the building and along Ridge Road, at Arbor Day 2009.

The Amberley Village Public Outreach Committee will meet to discuss a new website feature that will enhance community involvement on the Village website. There will also be discussion of a ribbon-cutting event for the tennis courts at Amberley Green. This is an open meeting. The public is welcome to attend. |
